Identifying suitable areas for crop cultivation is crucial for sustainable agriculture and the preservation of soil and water resources. This research introduces a framework using various data to compute the climate suitability index for four medicinal plant species: Capparis spinosa L, Mill Rosa damasena, Echinacea, and Lavandula anguttifolia. The data include climate variables, specifically average annual precipitation and growing season temperature, derived from CHIRPS and ERA5 satellite data. The mentioned climatic requirements for the studied plants were extracted from Agriculture Jahad's publications, and the fuzzy clustering method is employed to calculate the climate suitability index. Investigations showed that Capparis spinosa L and Mill Rosa damasena exhibit over 75% climate suitability in the eastern half of the basin, while Echinacea, and Lavandula anguttifolia show climate suitability index between 50% and 75% in both eastern and western regions study area. The developed method enhances the analysis by minimizing reliance on expert judgment and quantifying uncertainty. Additionally, the profitability ratio for medicinal plants is estimated as follows: Lavandula anguttifolia at 12.6 in the fourth year, Echinacea at 5.3 from the second year onward, Mill Rosa damasena at 1.6 in the fourth year, and 4.4 in the eighth year. Overall, the high benefit-cost ratio and low water requirements indicate significant investment potential in medicinal plant cultivation in the region.
