The removal of heavy metals from wastewater is a significant issue in the field of water pollution, which is a serious problem in reducing water quality. Adsorption experiments were conducted at different concentrations, contact time, adsorbent dose, and different pHs. Adsorption isotherms on adsorbents were determined based on Freundlich and Langmuir adsorption isotherm tests. It was also investigated based on pseudo-first-order and pseudo-second-order synthetics. Arsenic is one of the most important water pollutants, which despite its many applications in the industry, causes several risks in the environment. Arsenic compounds are used in many materials, including insecticides, rodenticides, herbicides and ceramics. Surface adsorption is one of the mechanism used to remove arsenic from aqueous environments. In this study, the effectiveness of multi-walled carbon nanotubes magnetized with iron oxide (Fe3O4) was investigated. Physical and structural properties of the adsorbent were analysed using XRD, TEM, FESEM. The ideal conditions for removal of arsenic were pH=2, at a concentration of 6 mg/L, during 30 minutes at ambient temperature. Adsorption was chosen to be 0.02 mg/g in the analysis of all sample. Also, fitting regression curves showed that Freundlich (R2> 0.9981) and pseudo-second-order (R2 = 0.9998) models are the best the isothermal and kinetic models, respectively.
